About Me
Hi, I’m Lauren.
I’m a human-centered design leader with 15+ years of experience creating intuitive, efficient, and impactful experiences across SaaS, enterprise, and startup environments. My work spans the full UX spectrum — from research and discovery through design, delivery, and adoption — always with a focus on making complex systems work better for the people who rely on them.
I’ve led projects that:
Streamlined operational workflows for small, fast-moving teams
Unified fragmented enterprise product suites under consistent design systems
Balanced the needs of both highly technical users and those new to a platform
Applied Service Design thinking to physical spaces and community engagement
A Career Shaped by Curiosity and Collaboration
I started in graphic design, but quickly found my passion in understanding how people work, what gets in their way, and how design can make their day smoother. My roles at companies like Rackspace, Pendo, Citrix, and Beech Valley have given me the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, product managers, researchers, and operations teams — translating insights into solutions that improve efficiency, clarity, and satisfaction.
Drawn to Healthcare Experience Design
For over a decade, I’ve been inspired by the potential of design to improve healthcare — from clinical software and patient-facing tools to the physical environments and service touchpoints that shape critical moments in care. I’m now intentionally moving toward this field, bringing my background in human-centered design, workflow optimization, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to opportunities where they can have a direct and meaningful impact.
Outside of Work
I contribute my design skills to volunteer projects — from rethinking wayfinding and visitor materials at my local church to developing educational resources on internet bias and digital literacy for a social justice non-profit. I’m also a parent, community member, and lifelong learner, currently exploring how Service Design and Human Factors intersect.
