Turning complex workflows into intuitive digital products.
Intro
I’m Lauren Puckett — a seasoned Product Designer who owns problems from discovery to delivery. I bring over 15 years of experience translating complex enterprise and B2B requirements into clean, scalable software through close cross-functional collaboration and agile execution.
What I Do
Research & Discovery – Conduct usability testing, user interviews, contextual inquiry, and workflow analysis to inform product strategy and direction. Collaborate with Product and Business leaders to establish priorities based on insights.
Design & Strategy – Map user journeys and wireframe / prototype design flows to refine design specifications. Break down high-level feature concepts into incremental, manageable pieces. Define explicit acceptance criteria—anticipating edge cases.
Collaboration – Partner with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to define and deliver measurable improvements. Participate in agile methodologies, partnering with Engineering to evaluate technical feasibility against user value, making smart scope adjustments without sacrificing the core user experience.

Tools
Research & Iteration – I start any problem by seeking to understand the people and context, bridging business goals with user needs. From there, I design, test, and iterate to refine concepts based on continuous feedback and measurable impact.
Systems & Frameworks – I enjoy frameworks and systems to simplify complex decisions. I use weighted criteria frameworks to help prioritize work, translating broad concepts into bite-sized user stories. I also use structured frameworks to document open questions and assumptions to provide strategic clarity. Additionally, I’ve used mental model diagrams to map features to user needs and identify strategic gaps and opportunities.
Agile / Scrum Experience – I have worked exclusively in agile environments across my product design career. I partner closely with product and engineering to define and document requirements and acceptance criteria in Jira, track progress, groom backlogs, help prioritize, and actively participate in scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Attention to Detail – I am known for spotting missing details, uncovering edge cases, and testing the limits of code. At Pendo and Rackspace, I worked closely with QA teams to assist with manual testing while they drove automated validation, ensuring a high-quality build from concept to deployment.
